Wait. You forgot the most important reason people become prosecutors: its a
political career move. The prosecutor's office is a great place to network,
make some friends in government (like the chief of police, you know, you pat
his back, he'll pat yours), get your name known, get experience in the
elected
official world, prosecute a good ax-murderer case, etc.
