At the drags (on and off the strip ) 2x4 sedans were faster than the
FI's. As far as the cardboard cars, my MGTD blew off all the vette's
around. FWIW my TD had a 301 (283 punched to 4) and 4x2's, among other
goodies . It was street legal back in those days fore the guv't man
screwed up all the fun protecting us from ourselves.
