Okay, I bought a used US Robotics standard Internal 14.4 KB Data and Fax
modem with no books box or anything.  I have been fiddling arounf with
the settings to optimize the trans/receiving speeds.  I pretty much have
1670 cps for Zmodem upload and 1600 cps Zmodem download with compression
set to off (No MNP), and these transmission speed are from compressed files
(ZIP mostley).  Is there any software that I can try to emmulate a 16.8
or something?  I know I should just buy another modem, but I have no money
and alot of bills.
