I don't get the connection between Computer gaming and technology in the
class room.  While I would agree that some people are adversely effected
by computers IMO it should have no bearing at all on what the computers
are used for.  These same individuals would probably be effected
negatively by some other source if the computer were not present.
I think the greatest fear of many teachers is that somehow they will be
replaced by the technology.  While I am sure there are many ways they
could be supplemented I doubt total replacement would be an option.  Now
some of the cyber education ideas could cut down on the need for large
numbers of certain educational teachers in some fields.  That will not
come about until most homes have some sort of access.  Time will tell
if the right decisions were made or not.
