Hi Ruth!
-=> Quoting Ruth Haffly to Wendy Buchanan <=-
RH> Well, we have a bit of breathing time. Deborah started her last year
RH> of high school yesterday and I told her that I'd like her to at least
RH> have an AA before getting married. Mike would probably get his BA (or
RH> BS) the year she is supposed to get an AA. hey both are willing to
RH> wait for a while.
It's good for them to wait. She's so young, let her enjoy single
life for a while longer first. And she will have all sorts of
neat experiences, and that will make for a fuller, richer life for
both of them.
RH> Yes, I've been sort of resting. I know if I push myself, the asthma
RH> will flare up. I'm also trying to stay away from places like Phoenix;
RH> went there the week after the wedding and had bronchial trouble for a
RH> few weeks after.
Hmmmm...I had problems on the way back from a trip to Phoenix. I
felt when we got to the humid weather area again. You wouldn't
think Oklahoma would be humid but this part of it is called "Green
Country" and it is very humid here lots of the time. It's NE OK
and there are a lot of dammed-up rivers for recreation area lakes
in this area.
RH> We are planning to go to see David graduate his basic. He called
RH> Rachel yesterday and told her that he will know his first assignment
RH> (after tech school) next week. Mike and his mom are planning to go to
RH> the graduation also; Deborah is excited. (G) Guess I'll take some
RH> cross stitch to do on the long road trip there & back.
Oh, neat! That will be great for everyone, I know. Melanie
Boucher flew out to see her younger son graduate from Marine
Boot Camp and had a great time. They showed her a fine time,
and she had a nice trip out and back, so she was thrilled.
LadyBear Hugs,
Wendy
... The local diner doesn't give out doggie bags. The SPCA won't let `em.
