  You're not TELLING you're just 'showing' and that is the most
effectual way to influence people or used to be anyway before mass out
of control advertising got into the business of undermining common
sense... for the sake of the almighty dollar.

Why would one want to do that? You mean surrender and be a lemming?
Just to 'fit in' though you don't want to? Good way to be miserable.

  That's the fundie job and that of amok advertising. They're doin'
really good making big bucks becasue people are paying into hearing
them even if only for entertaiment.
