DRN> Arizona Revised Statutes, 13-3102. Misconduct involving
DRN> weapons; defenses; classifications; definitions.
DRN> A. A person commits misconduct involving weapons by
DRN> knowingly:
DRN> 10. Unless specifically authorized by law, entering any
DRN> public establishment or attending any public event and
DRN> carrying a deadly weapon on his person after a
DRN> reasonable request by the operator of the establishment
DRN> or the sponsor of the event;
DRN> Note: a properly posted sign is a "reasonable request".
Only if you see it. :-) If an establishment's =unposted=, the staff still
has to see you carrying before they ask you to leave.
DRN> You're right about criminal trespass, see ARS 13-1502, A.
DRN> 1.
They can nail you on this only if you refuse to leave. If you leave and do
so without making a fuss, there's nothing chargeable whereas in other states
it seems that you =could= be charged even if you left quietly on request.
