Angelos has a huge ego. So does Johnson. Johnson has an excellent
regular-season record as a manager, and I'd like to have seen him stay.
However, he's also part of the reason the Orioles weakened their offense (the
only aspect of the 1996 team that wasn't broken), which eventually cost us

1997 ALCS. Miller is no Johnson (of course, he had little talent in
Minnesota), but life will go on. What I'll miss most about him is that he
