Yes, that's what I meant... But what's a den mother?

KS> CBIP - just finished Monkey: Journey to the West (a recent translation
KS> - I forget who did it and the book's upstairs.) Most entertaining.

Now that's a tease...

KS> Currently I'm on a bit of a random James H. Schmitz binge, mostly the

I read THE WITCHES OF KARRES years ago but didn't know he'd written
anything else. Somebody (other than Schmitz) recently wrote a sequel to
it, I think.

     Regards,

              Robert.

CBIP: THE NECROPOLIS RAILWAY by Andrew Martin.
"A novel of murder, mystery, and steam." In which railway-mad young
Jim is mysteriously plucked from Yorkshire to work on the railway
taking the dead from London to the Brookwood necropolis in Surrey,
only to find that the men he works with have formed a mysterious
loathing to him and his predecessor disappeared in mysterious
     circumstances.
