LOL! You are very smart, Theresa! I'd never have thought of
that myself, but you are absolutely right, I'm sure Gramma
was thankful for every bit of help the Lord gave her!
I'm just a rank amateur at quilting, but I did try quilting a
wall hanging with a sewing machine last December and I sure
made a mess of it. I am also not too great at hand quilting,
but I haven't had much practice at it yet, so I am giving it
a chance.
My husband Tom gave me the $40.00 to take a class in which we
will make a hand-pieced, hand-quilted wallhanging quilt from
a block we draft ourselves. It runs for 3 hours a night, 4
Tuesday evenings in September. I'm really looking forward to
this class. Hope it turns out well, so I can show the quilt
I made to everyone.
