I have my first successfully hatched clutch. They are starting to get
their feathers and it looks like they will be leaving the nest box very
soon. I read somewhere that I am supposed to take the father out of the
cage during this process so he does not attach the babies. Is this so
and if it is when do I take him out and for how long? If this is not
the case and I am supposed to take the babies out when do I get them
out of the cage? I do not want to take them out to earlier if they have
not learned how to eat solids.

Thanks
