I just bought myself a Radio Shack Pro 90 Trunktracker scanner, and
I am very impressed with the way it works. It's triple conversion,
and I have yet to experience any intermod, but really didn't have
any problems with my Pro-39 either. It is extremely easy to program,
and follows the Trunking communications like a champ. It's nice to
be able to have a scanner that I can really use again!
Does anyone have any frequencies for the Portland, Oregon area?
Right now I have thirty frequencies that have produced 50 ID's in my
first bank. I have about 15 or twenty additional frequencies, to put
in bank two and haven't got around to it. After I do, I will search
those for ID's and see what I can find.
One question I have is it possible to pin an id onto a particular
frequency or group of frequencies. I expect to be able to fill one
bank with 30 frequencies and 50 id's that are just used by the
police, but don't know how to separate out the fire and medical, so
that I can put them into another bank, assuming that is possible.
thanks,
Martin
