Being a point I don't need netmgr, and didn't know it would do that.  
Thanks for pointing it out.  However, MPOST and Sendmsg (and lots of 
others) post into message bases from the command line.  That makes them 
better suited to running in batch files, where you want to be sure that the 
new report has been generated _before_ you post it.  You're presumably 
posting the same rules on a regular basis over a long term.
