Hi Tony--
According to the weekly computer column (probably more objective
than the Windows-oriented trade press) in last Tuesday's New York Times,
'Opera' is only for Win95. Also, according to same column, it doesn't
work very well.
I almost agree with you about Netscape. I use WebEx for everything
except the DevCon catalog and the ibm.net home page, both of which
require frames and Java. Most especially, I use WebEx for downloading
code from the www.software.ibm.com and www2.hursley.ibm.com pages.
However, my small usage of Netscape hasn't caused any horrible results
(other than loading the swap file) in my Warp 4 plus FixPak 5 system -
to date!
Possibly the thing I like the least about Netscape is that I can't
make it go away with a single keystroke (F3) as Webex, MR/2I, and many
other "normal" OS/2 PM internet programs do.
