OK sorry!  I got the idea you work for a dealer.
OK as far as the tech codes go, if your dealer's tech likes you,
they may give you the codes for your phone.
They will also probably tell you how much they will charge you
for resetting your phone if you mess up its programming.
There are all sorts of interesting codes in a cellular phone, and
a lot of them are set by your cellular carrier.
By set by the cellular carrier, I mean the carrier tell the
dealer what codes to use.
My carrier has a thing called a customer group on their switch
profile for me.
On Bell Mobility Cellular, this code determines what language
recordings, automted menus and your bill is sent to you in.
The offer English and French, but said yes, they could create a
special group just for me.
So I could get out of service recordings that greeted me by name!
Pretty neat but they don't use it to the extent they could,
creating profiles say for Spanish, Cantonese or Italian speaking
customers.
