I can still hand hold a normal lens at a half second or so, one out of
five shots and get something that doesn't look too bad at 8x10. Make
that a two times normal, and my hand helds drop to a 1/15th second and
I get one out of ten with acceptable sharpness.. You need to have a
sweetie on location. She tickles you in the ribs, you jump, the
alzheimer shakes drop out and when you land, the reflexes cause the
fingers to clench tripping the shutter when you are at a maximum point
of compression and you get a sharp picture. Works great if the camera
is pointed in the right direction.

But the Speed Graphic 4x5 only has to be enlarged two times to get an
8x10, plus the thing is so heavy you need a hoist truck to lift it into
shooting position. And when that 5 megawatt screw in focal plane bulb
went off everyone in the county was blind for three days, so they
couldn't see if the picture was sharp or not..

... When cheese gets its picture taken, what does it say?
