In telling you of my accomplishments since getting sober, I neglected to 
mention the other stuff.  Besides alcoholism, i suffer from diabetes and 
lupus both auto-immune disorders which means that my body destroys parts of 
itself because it thinks that these parts are foreign bodies.  Gucky right?  
Well, there are many other things that I could have going awry and I was 
given 6 months to live in 1962 from kidney failure.  Trouble with me is that 
I'm too nosey to sit still long enough to be really bothered by all this 
crap.  In the year I was born, the life expectancy for women was 49 years.  
I've been into overtime for 13 years so what the heck.  
The only difference between a disaster and an adventure is my attitude.
