My father went in for surgery last Friday for a pancreatic cyst.
Unfortunately, when the doctors went in, they discovered that he has
cancer that has spread through his entire abdomen. At the time, it
appeared that it had not yet spread to either his lungs or liver.

  He lost a sister...as well as a friend in Rio De Janiero, Brazil...
to pancreatic cancer. And, it has devastated him, his family, and
friends. But, the wife and I knew that when he went in, that the
diagnosis could go either way. He is going to try and fight it, and
he has had numerous calls and visits from family and friends.
