Same here. I had a time with Charlotte at the 'still aint very good with a
¨fork' when all she'd eat was steamed bok choy. So very grabbable you see!
Charlotte hasnt been raised with traditional USA foods because we dont eat
¨'traditional' all that often. Very asiatic and more so once we moved to
Japan.
Tonight was as traditional as we get. Chicken Noodle soup (scratch made
from ¨the crockpot) and nuked broccoli (1 min) with butter (real, just a
touch for ¨flavor). She calls that 'eating American style' and I guess it
is even if the ¨soup was thickened with peanut powder and had curry, lotus
root, and daikon ¨with some satsumo ito (sweet potato but not overtly
sweet).
Charlotte throws out most of her halloween candy after a month and we've
never ¨had to mention it. She's not sweet-fond other than the hot summer
when she ¨loves her popsicles and wants one a day for a treat.
