subject: NetMgr can`t rewrite zones?

Hallo Phil!

PR> Is Netmgr 1.00 (Y2K patched) broken in any way? I've just noticed
PR> that it's not writing changes to the netmail messages, even though debug
PR> mode shows the changes should be made.

PR> The email at the bottom shows the zones should be 85, but the netmail
PR> actually has zone 1 in both the "to" and "from"
addresses. The old 0.95
 PR> beta worked fine.

Are you absolutely sure that you used the old and new version on the same
configuration file, with the same message area (or at least the same
storage type), and that you used the same editor for viewing the messages?

Assuming that you have a Fido / *.MSG folder, the problem is that the .MSG
format itself does not provide zone information. Zone information is
provided with the INTL kludge line. If this kludge line is not present, the
default zone (1, in your case) is assumed.

Now if you see "1" instead of "85", either the INTL
kludge is not present in the mail, or your editor is not interpreting the
INTL kludge line corrected.

In the former case, you could try to add "INTLforce Yes" to your
Netmgr configuration file and see if it helps. In the latter case,
regarding your tear line , please send me a bug report and attach
a .MSG file that conatins such a mail, via netmail or e-mail to
tobi{at}bland.fido.de.

I don't think the problem has to to with registration crippling.

Viele Gre,
Tobias
