 Any of hte Radio Shac kor UNIDEN top of hte line scaners are quite good. But 
it depends on which your special interest is. As an example of you are into 
Police Radio Action and your locality has gone to a Motorola Trunking system 
the UNIDEN or Lookalike RS "Trunk Tracker" is the only way to go.
