OJ> If I try to go to tvdog's site from fdisk.com, then I get

That is a very vague description of what you are doing.

Here is what I did:

1. go to the site "http://www.fdisk.com/doslynx/"
2. click on the "Tvdog's Internet Archive" link

This takes me to "http://www.oldskool.org/~tvdog/internet.html".

Although I did this with Arachne, LYNX should not have any
problems with this page as it appears to be straight HTML.

Nor does this page contain the word "digimedia" in any form,
either as a link or as text. I can't see any reason why you would
be taken to the digimedia site.

I think it must be something you are doing.

 OJ> Any suggestions?

Yes. Tell us EXACTLY what site you are on and what link you
click, and EXACTLY what URLs you type in, then we might be able
to work something out.

Comments like "typing the URL in full" are too vague.
