I'm glad you haven't lost yourself.  Having done this at one point in 
my life and having had to take over two years to get myself back - out 
of codependency and sick, abusive relationships with active alcoholics 
and/or addicts - may I add that I strongly suggest you continue to 
avoid this. (GRIN)

Seriously, I think the sponsor who told me to take two years off with 
no dating on any level may have saved my life and what little sanity I 
had - although I failed to appreciate it at the time.
