    If you can, as far as the NASA stuff goes, keep your eye out on 2 meter 
and 440 ham radio repeaters.  I was just out in Florida (i'm in northern 
california) when they did a bunch of space shuttle stuff and i heard some of 
the nasa stuff on my 2meter/440 rig.  the prob is, i can't remember the freq 
or the band.  but i just thought i would throw that out at ya
