The English language has, about, six times more words than the Hebrew (even
more of a ratio than Biblical Hebrew!) and this naturally leads to confusion
when translating into English, being that there might be six different English
words that only one Hebrew word fills in for (but WHICh of the six, each time?)

Let's consider a person driving an automobile, who deliberately cranks the
steering wheel to the right, with the express purpose of killing someone on
the sidewalk!  We might call this incident an example of "evil". . .

Now let us consider another car, in which the steering column snaps a pin
inside, and the car veers over and accidentally kills someone -- we wouldn't
label this "evil" -- while it is, certainly, a "bad' thing!

In Hebrew, one word, "ra", would cover both circumstances -- most
instances of
"ra"en the Hebrew Bible were blanket-translated as
"evil" when many times the
context didn't warrant it, and then, of course, the context had to be
translated to suit the presupposed meaning for "ra"! :P
