Most of So. California doesn't get any winter. High altitudes get snow if it
rains for more than a few days. Those storms that come out of the Alaska
Gulf sometimes get this far south. When I want to see snow, I drive East
during daylight hours, down the main drag by the shop and I can see it on the
mountain tops about 40 miles out of town...
If you go east of the mountains, into the desert, it doesn't rain there
because it's blocked by the mountains. Except for the Alaska storms...
It's nice out there all winter. Usually in the low 70's in the daytime,
cools off to the 40's at night.
JP> I still think you need to move around Memphis (all of the cam and
JP> hi-po manufacturers are amazing) and start a machine shop.
I'm trying to get out of a machine shop, not into one.
JP> Lots of money to be made by location alone. The local dirt track

JP> higher dollar area of the city.
We'll see. I had a call today about selling the shop. He's coming tomorrow
to look it over...
... Don't just stand there, damn it. Kneel!
