Depends what is meant by digital or by motor driven. For example a
purely digital clock would have a quartz oscillator and an LCD display.
A semi-digital clock would have a quartz oscillator with an impulse
motor needle movement. Around here one can buy either type "Made in
China" for the *same* retail price. It's the line powered clock
movements, large digit LED displays, and large backlit LCD's that are
now expensive.
