Hello, My name is Albert. I'm writing because I have a very unusual problem
with the TA-110 Casio PhoneMate Answering Machine that I purchased for my
father for Christmas. After reading the instructions that came with the TA-110
Casio PhoneMate, Owners Guide. I made all the proper connections as instructed
from the Owner's Guide and when I tested the machine to see if it worked, the
phone just rang but the answering machine didn't answer the call as it was
suppose to do so on the second ring. I double checked all the connections just
in case I made a mistake and everything was connected properly.

I then decided to take the Casio PhoneMate to my apartment which is just one
floor above to try it on my phone and the Casio PhoneMate worked just the way
it's suppose to work answering on the second ring when I called. I then took it
back down to my father house and re-connected the Casio PhoneMate with the same
settings that I had in my apartment and the Casio PhoneMate did Not answer the
phone on the second ring like it did in my apartment.

I then decided to take the Casio PhoneMate to my neighbors apartment which is
on the third floor since he has an answering machine of his own and the Casio
PhoneMate answering machine didn't worked there either. What gets me puzzled is
that my father had a answering before I bought him the Casio PhoneMate and he
didn't have No problem with his answering back then.

The PhoneMate answering machine works in my apartment but it doesn't work in my
fathers apartment or in my neighbors apartment. I don't understand what's going
on here and therefor I'm writing to you for your assistance. This is a strange
and very unusual problem that I have here.

Thank You very much for your time.
