I do agree Expos are cheap when it comes to players' salaries.
But I think that people in Montreal are more focused on their hockey team:
the Canadiens. Almost every home game at the Molson Center is or almost
a sellout.
The fans can be blamed too on this. When the Expos are on a hot
streak, the Olympic Stadium is usually filled with 30,000-35,000 fans (on
weekends). But once they lose, it drops drastically down to about 17,000.
The Expos don't have a consistent attendance.
