Yes, msged 4.20 beta 3 is (in my opion) a flop there should not have been
released, 4.10 and 4.20 beta 2 works (the a few bug).

Yes a rewrite of the personal scan code _is_ very high on my list over
thing to do in version 4.3? and so is advanced searce like Timed.
