Hi, Anthony. Quoting your discussion with Barry Laws, Jr.:
BLJ> Hmmm...I bet they don't get many French pitchers, do they?
BLJ> Maybe France should start their own baseball league, then they
BLJ> could bring some more French pitchers to the Expos.
AJ> I don't know if you're an americain or not but not FRANCE,
AJ> QUEBEC, I'm talking about french people in Quebec... (do a little
AJ> research next time)
Your rather defensive overreaction to Barry's message prompted
me to "do a little research", (i.e., re-read your original post).
In it I found:
AJ> ... I know Montreal the only times they sell out is Opening Day
AJ> and when a french pitcher is pitching.
^^^^^^
While you may have _meant_ "French people in Quebec" (or perhaps
"French-Canadian"), how was Barry to know that? Also, you made
NO mention of Quebec anywhere in your message (I looked). Most
people who read these messages are not mind readers, Anthony.
They can only respond to what you write.
Back to point you were making, I know that the Expos have had
some Canadian-born players on their roster, but have any been
French-Canadian?
P.S. Won't Martinez & Lansing look fantastic in Dodger blue?!
And Expos fans won't miss them, of course, because they aren't
French.
... Anthony's photographic memory must be using non-parity chips.
