I have been trying to perform a MS-DOS Kermit upload on SKULKEEP.COM I only seem to be able to perform a Kermit upload to a UNIX version of C-KERMIT ? When I try to upload to Linux G-Kermit, I get a faulty ERRNO enable diagnostic. When I try to upload to WINDOWS, I get a NAK of '#N3'. The filename may or may not be sent, but none of the "long" packets are sent, and the status screen with the progress bar never auto-enables. When I manually "force" the Kermit send, the packet is not accepted. When I return to the BBS prompt after an abort, there is always a line of gibberish there, like ~F $G4, et cetera, or -----------k, et cetera, like a repeat byte ismessed up or something. It's weird! Downloading seems okay so far, though. Is there a problem with a DOS box under WINDOWS or has the Columbia KERMIT Team not written their protocol correctly. Since they *DEFINE* the protocol, how can it be in error? I am confused!... --- SBBSecho 2.00-Win32* Origin: Tuneman BBS -- Manville, RI Tunemanbbs.mine.nu (1:323/981) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 323/981 132/500 10/345 106/1 2000 633/267 |
