How is your love bird doing? I've read a lot about them and they sound
like they could be neat to have. We would like to have a bigger bird, but
are concerned about the chewing, plus we want to make sure that what we
already have is getting enough attention. So, that will probably have to
wait.
How did your hand fed finches turn out? They seem to have a different
nature so I wandered if they could ever really be tame. We didn't feed our
babies, but they did let us hold them when they were young. The older they
got, the less they liked being held. Now, they don't like it at all.
Our male finches are zebra, but I'm not positive that the females aren't
society finches.
We should be getting the avairy soon. We are very much looking forward
to getting our den back. It should be a lot easier to keep clean. At the
very least I won't have so much laundry to do since we use a sheet and
several towels to protect the den. I wish we would have had some choices to
pick from for the avairy, but we weren't able to find anything that would
look half-way decent for the living room except for Corner's Unlimited. I'm
surprised that there's not more to pick from out there, but evidently there's
not much demand for that type of thing.
Well, it's late, and maybe I'll be able to sleep now. It was nice to
hear from you.
