Hi Val!
-=> Quoting Valerie Murphy to Wendy Buchanan <=-
VM> Boy you sure have been having a Murphy's Law experience haven't you?
You might call it that!
VM> I told my husband the other day that I wanted to change my name I am
VM> tired of Murphy's Law. He said, No I've had the name for 30 years and
VM> it's to late to change it now. :-)
Tell him it's never too late. Women who marry in their later years,
do it all the time! hehehe!
VM> Would you believe I've "been there, dont that?" I fell in our new
VM> shower over a year ago. I've never been in such pain in my life.
Oh, NO! Well, I'm well-padded, but it didn't help me much this
time. I landed a lot of weight (233 lbs.) on my spine, and it was
not too appreciative.
VM> Not one inch of my body was without bruses and I had swelling aches
VM> and horrible pains everywhere. I still am suffering from the fall out
VM> (pun intended). My chyropractor said that I had injuries that are
VM> normally seen in professional football players. It's no joke to fall
VM> in the shower and I REALLY sympathize (even though I can't spell it)
 VM> with you.
You spelled it just right! And I felt like a football player after
a losing season, for days afterwards. The other day I fell again
but this time I landed on a carpeted surface so it wasn't so bad,
just shook up what I'd already hurt. Turns out my sinuses and ears
were infected and I have been off-balance a lot, which makes me
fall more easily.
VM> I hope things get better soon!!! Take care of yourself.
I'm doing much better and got some things crocheted, got a couple of
calligraphic things done I wanted to finish...but I couldn't sit at
the crafting table long at a time. I'd do a few letters, then go lie
down with the foot up...back to the table, etc. It was weird!
I'm going to get the rubber stamps and stuff out and see what I
can do with the calligraphy pen and some embossing ink. I want
to make my own verses for inside cards, etc.
We'll see...I don't know, I haven't done much calligraphy the past
few years but they say it will probably come back to me with some
more practice.
