RW> Well, it was a lifelong dream as a teenager to come to
RW> where all the cool hotrods and custom cars were...When I got
I have been told it is the econobox capitol of the world.
RW> here, the climate was a bonus. Houses were even cheap. No
RW> smog laws, no high taxes, just a great place to live.
My cousin moved there (LA) when it was nice.
RW> I've thought about moving to NC, if I could find work with a
RW> NASCAR team as a machinist. I might be able to put up with
RW> the weather, but I'd probably still winter in CA.
I hear ya, depening on what part it is supposed to be nice. I still think
you need to move around Memphis (all of the cam and hi-po manufacturers are
amazing) and start a machine shop. Lots of money to be made by location
alone. The local dirt track guru has a shop in the middle of the hood and
they all live in the higher dollar area of the city.
