The way I look at it, if Microsoft can make it such that I cannot make a
fair-use copy of the song "Don't Worry, Be Happy" song that I
bought, maybe Microsoft could apply that same Digital Restrictions
Management technology to firewall configuration.

Of course that will never happen.  Making it easier for the end-user to get
and maintain control over his/her computer is just not as high on
Microsoft's priority list as is selling out those same users to the media
content companies.
