A friend with a business in Angola just got a merchant accound from Novus.  I 
got their info because I was surprized at the low costs.  Here is what I was 
told:

Application fee: $50.00
Terminal lease $10.00 /month.
Purchase of imprinter (for receites): $25.00
Kickback on Master/Visa Card: 1.85%
Kickback on Discover Card: 1.8%
Recietes and other materials are free.  They direct deposit to your bank 
account within 36 hours, and setup is within 2 weeks of approval.  I am going 
to get ahold of them soon and will let this message area know how it turns 
out.  I could not belive the low price, and Alice says the service has been 
very good, (included 30min training on electronic terminal).
