Then it's got to be an Outlook limitation?

When trying to open that PST file, the error states specifically that the
file is over the 2 Gig file limit, and that you need to remove material
from it by doing Shift/Delete to permanently delete the data.  Kind of hard
to do, when you can't even load or open the PST file because it's over the
limit.  And you have to download the specific tool to "shrink"
the file. You get the option to set how much to lop off the end, as it
copies the file to a new target folder, then you run scanpst on the newly
created file.
