i still have EMSI here with qico, so trapdoor with serial.device over tcp would
fully work, have forgot what the device name is, but for trapdoor its just a
serial device, if above also works be happy but where is the source code ?

trapdoor > serial > tcp > qico port 24554 just use EMSI here

my xinetd snippet

   ----- qico begins -----
# binkp = 24554
service binkp
{
        disable = no
        protocol = tcp
        flags = IPv4
        port = 24554
        socket_type = stream
        wait = no
        user = xpoint
        server = /usr/sbin/qico
        server_args = -a binkp
        per_source = 1
        instances = 1
}
   ----- qico ends -----

if someone have trapdoor source code it would be possible to make trapdoor work
with tcp as well

 Regards Benny
