He's running it in a virtual machine, so the hardware is virtualized, and a
virtual MAC address is created.  From how I'm reading it, a new Mac Address
is being created each time he loads the Virtual Machine, so it's been
suggested that he create a file that assigns the same MAC Address each time
the VM is loaded.
