EG> The Expos AVERAGED 28,000 during their best years so don't tell me that
EG> the damn hockey team.
Their BEST years when? The Expos have made the playoffs once in their
30-year history (the strike shortned season of '82) and then they still got
less then great crowds. That DAMN hockey team get all the sponsors (it own
by Molson posibly the biggest beer company in the world) no one really cares
about the Expos', especially when hockey season rolls around. The a joke
that goes, if you want to get some peace a quiet in Montreal go watch the
Expos at the Big O, an awful baseball stadium. People in Montreal want a
winner and they have one in the Expos the second best winning percentage in
the 90s (next to the Braves), and yet in the warm summer days they can't draw
a decent crowd, it is a sad thing but management is doing all it can with no
real sponsor and a cheap president/co-owner Claude Brochu, he started the
problem. They leavce in 5 years I wish they could stay, I one of there only
loyal fans.
