subject: admin not in control of vista

From: "Geo."

So in vista there are a ton of scheduled tasks, too many for me to want to
go thru them right now but I needed to eliminate these as possibilities for
some activity I'm trying to track down.

Anyway, I decided to stop the schedule service, quick and easy way to stop
these tasks from running. Except it appears I'm not allowed to stop the
schedule service in Vista, even if I try NET STOP SCHEDULE from an
administrator command prompt.

I get "access denied".

So I figure ok then there must be somewhere I can set the security for
controlling this service (it's typical MS thinking, block yourself from
control) but I can't find that. Anyone got any ideas?

Geo.
