Hello Ward,
Some time ago you complained, you had no modem, you want one?
HD>> 10 years ago I warned my sisters husband before buying one,
HD>> and that drive died within 3 years ;-(.
WD> Any hard drive will eventually crash one time or the other.
Off course, but it is publicly klnown that WD drives live shorter than other
makes, that is the point I was making.
WD> Even SSD drives are not forever.
Even worse, SSD drives, USB-sticks and (micro-)SDcards live shorter,
because of the wear they have.
WD>>> The composition of license plates for cars is now settled on a
WD>>> European wide basis ...
HD>> I have not heard of changing the car plate configurations to a new
HD>> standard.
HD>> You have a source for that?
HD>> Please proof it.
WD> You want me to prove too that the sun shines today?
You came with that EU plate number statement, I never heard about it.
WD> As from a specific date EU license-plates are composed of specific 3
WD> groups of letters and digits.
Sorry but I have never heard of it, only that blue EU mark on the left side
of the plates, but nothing about the letters and digits configuaration
standard.
WD> You can also Google it. Of course, you are PSTN,
You know very little about me.
I have more important things to do than google for number plate information.
WD> Call the ANWB and ask.
First my bad hearing does not allow calling by voice, you knew that.
Second it costs me money for information I do not use at all.
By the way, I am a ANWB member and read the monthly magazine for 40 years,
but never saw that EU statement you mentioned above.
Henri.
