Same happend to me in 2008, the old 1994 HDD controller seemed defective,
not the 2 drives which were running for 14 years 24/7/365 at UniCorn BBS.
Afther that I changed the whole UniCorn BBsystem for a complete other
one with 2 x 4 GB HDD, that is still running here 24/7.
I have a spare W98 machine downstairs for it, if this one fails.
