 But Satan has to always be evil, and how can he be evil, asleep? As
soon as he nods off, evil is no longer abroad in the land. Good is a
passive thing. If you just sit there doing nothing, it can't be bad.
Evil, on the other hand is active. You can't be evil if you don't do
bad things.

 Of course, it is always possible that Satan is *so* evil that he's
worked out a way to do bad things in his sleep... altyhough I can't
imagine how. Does Satan dream of eviscerating sheep?
