  I would think that it is something that you would have to tell GEOS.
(i.e.: it is GEOS that is taking over the key combinations... I am not
sure if it is possible to prohibit GEOS from taking over the necessary
key combos or not... remember, GEOS uses LOTS of key combos for all
kinds of "keyboard shortcuts").
