Nope, and you aren't the first to notice that. Bob Juge asked me the same 
thing. ;-)
It's a relic from the time that PKZIP 2.04g was first released and allowed me 
to differentiate between the new and old versions.  Just to be on the safe 
side, I changed the line in Compress.Cfg to read pkzip.exe.
Still no luck......  I'm convinced that it's probably something very minor 
that I've managed to overlook in the conversion process.
