I beg to differ, The Observation Lounge on the E-D didn't have a model of the 
Space Shuttle on the "Enterprise Evolution Wall".  I believe what you are 
talking about it the Recreation Room on "STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE" where 
Decker is showing the altered "Ilea" around.  There are photographs of 
previous "Enterprises" including the "The Sloop, The Aircraft Carrier, The 
Orbital Space Shuttle, A Freighter and finally The Starship".
