Look maybe you do not understand the way that Montreal works, I lived there
for a couple of years, all they care about is hockey, it could be mid-July
and they can't wait for the Montreal Canadiens season to begin, even if the
Expos' are in first pla ce with a 10 game lead of the Braves' ( just look at
the strike shortened season of 1994, they were the best team in baseball they
were still getting awful crowds). I don't know where you from, (please tell
me) but I know Montreal the only times they sell out is Opening Day and when
a french pitcher is pitching. Montreal dosen't have the kind of sponsorship
the Habs' do they are owned by Molson the biggest beer company in the world,
while Molson gives a bit of money to the Expos' but it is so little because
they know since no one see the games it isn't worth it. Montreal's market
isn't as *bad* as San Diego it is MUCH worse! In a few years they'll be gone
barring a miracle.
