CH>TR>The bottom line is that you would be in jail for disobeying a
CH>TR>lawful order, and the police officer would commandeer your vehicle
CH>TR>anyway.
CH>SK>NOPE! No keys, no commandeering. I'd like to see the jury convict
CH>me.
CH>The jury issue would be whether or not, after receiving an Order from
CH>a Police Officer you disobeyed that order. The verdict would be
CH>guilty and you would pay the penalty. It's simple as that.
If the cop arrested me. I thought this cop was in a hurry, or something.
And then I'd pay the silly little fine. It's as if you think disobeying
a cops order would land me in jail...I doubt it. But if I did..well, I'd
at least still be true to my convictions (no pun intended).
You see, SOME people hold strong beliefs. Beliefs like freedom, justice,
and anti-totalitarianism. You know, GOOD beliefs. I'll stand by my good
beliefs and others can stand by authoritarianism, totalitarianism, and
such. I won't get bullied into submission by those that hold freedom
(and honor) to a lesser level than I.
If I were in Nazi Germany I would disobey too. And I would pay the
price, if fighting the wrong didn't work. Patriots are silly like that.
Regards, Steve
